We’re pleased to offer the option of having your treatment bulk billed through the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) program. Our knowledgeable staff will be happy to assist you in determining your eligibility for this scheme.

Fill out the
consent form

During your child’s appointment, fill out and sign the consent form provided by our staff. After that, your child can receive the dental treatment required.

Submit your
claim

We offer on-the-spot claims for eligible patients. All we need from you is your Medicare card and your consent to bulk bill the treatment. Our friendly staff will take care of the rest.

The CDBS is an Australian Government initiative that provides eligible children and teenagers ages 0-17 years old with up to \$1,052 in benefits over two calendar years to access essential dental services that can help improve their overall health and well-being.

With CDBS, your child can receive regular check-ups and cleanings as well as any necessary basic dental services at Mary River Dental – that can help prevent major dental problems in the future.

Is your child eligible?

Your child must be 0-17 years old and qualify for Medicare to be eligible for CDBS. As their parent/guardian, you must receive at least one eligible payment during that calendar year.

Up to $1,052 worth of dental services.

With CDBS, your child can receive up to $1,052 worth of dental services over two consecutive calendar years. Remaining funds cannot be used if the full amount isn't used within two calendar years.

No application needed.

The good part about CDBS is that there is no application or registration needed. If your child is eligible, you will receive a letter from Medicare. A child's eligibility is checked every January and throughout the year.
